In collaboration with the Morris County School Boards Association, we are introducing the 403 Reasons to Run, Inc. Inaugural First Responder Award. The award is $1,004.03 and is geared toward a High School Senior currently serving as a First Responder (EMT, Firefighter). Morris County SBA Inaugural Architecture Scholarship
The Morris County School Boards Association will partner with the architectural firm Parette Somjen Architects, LLC, to offer an Inaugural Architecture Scholarship. Laura Bishop Communications Scholarship - Morris County
After the great success of last year's scholarship, we are very excited to partner with Laura Bishop Communications, LLC, to offer the 2nd Annual Laura Bishop Communications Scholarship - Morris County in collaboration with the Morris County School Boards Association. The award is $1,000 and is geared toward a student interested in majoring or minoring in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. 200 Club Law Enforcement/Emergency Personnel Scholarship
Scholarship eligibility is limited to high school seniors who volunteer as a first aid squad/EMS department member or who volunteer as a firefighter in a fire department in Morris County, or whose parent/guardian is actively serving in or retired from the following agencies in, or serving, Morris County:
* Morris County police departments
* Morris County fire departments
* Morris County first aid squads
* An Office of Emergency Management in Morris County
* New Jersey State Police
* Federal Law Enforcement
New Jersey State Police and Federal Law Enforcement eligibility is restricted to those who live or have their primary assignment in Morris County or have retired from the New Jersey State Police or a Federal Law Enforcement agency and live or had their primary assignment in Morris County. Arlene Persson Memorial Horticultural/Environmental Award
The Rockaway Valley Garden Club Scholarship is an award of up to $2,000 for a student of the following criteria. Demonstrated meaningful effort and involvement in horticultural and/or the environment in academic and/or community projects OR a 2024 graduating senior from one of the following: Boonton, Mountain Lakes, Morris Hills, Morris Knolls, Morris Catholic, Morris County School of Technology, or The Craig School or a matriculated student in horticultural and/or environmental student at County College of Morris. Boonton Fire Dept Scholarships
The Town of Boonton Volunteer Fire Department is offering scholarship awards to one or more recipients who have either graduated from high school or who are members of a high school graduating class. In addition to the academic awards, there will be a separate $500 cash award in Memory of Honorary Chief Warren Westura for a student that has shown interest and skills in photography as well as a $1000 award in Memory of Honorary Chief Thomas M. Corigliano for a student that has shown interest and skills in Automotive or Mechanical maintenance and/or repairs. Deadline - May 17, 2024
Boonton High School Home & School Association
The scholarship is a one-time award to students who complete this application; incomplete applications will not be considered. Finalists will receive their awards after BHS graduation ceremonies. Boonton Historical Society & Museum - Helen Dixon Kunzelmann Scholarship in History
The BHSM has established the Helen Dixon Kunzelmann Scholarship in History in the amount of $500 to be awarded to a deserving Boonton High School seniors (regardless of residence) and Boonton residents (regardless of high school they attend). Deadline - May 15, 2024
Must be Lincoln Park Resident since September of sophomore year; planning to pursue a degree in math or science; and must have an \"A\" average in college prep math or science for the first two marking periods and throughout senior year. Henry B. Wilson Scholarship from the Wilson Foundation
A $10,000 College award to be used for tuition to an accredited 4-year college for Boonton and Mountain Lakes School Seniors. Applicants must have a 3.75 - 5.0 weighted GPA. A ZOOM Interview with the Board or in person interview with a Board member may be requested of you by the Board. This award is based on merit and has no concern with personal family finances. However, it is intended to be used for cost of attendance (tuition & room and board) only. If you have received other scholarship or award monies this award can be reduced so all scholarship monies combined do not exceed 100% of annual tuition. Deadline - April 5, 2024
High School Voluntarism Scholarship 2024
The primary criterion for the scholarship is outstanding dedication to voluntarism and community service. Candidates should also show strong leadership skills, academic performance, and participation in extracurricular activities, and work or family responsibilities. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school. Financial need is not a factor for consideration for the High School Voluntarism Scholarship whereas the HS Post Secondary Grant does take financial need into account. Applicants must reside or currently attend school in Morris or Somerset Counties. Deadline - March 31, 2024

Janet Logan Daily Foundation Scholarship 2024
The Janet Logan Daily Foundation is accepting applications for its annual $10,000 scholarship. The foundation grants an annual award to one graduating HS senior from New Jersey who will be enrolling full-time in an accredited post-secondary university or college. This scholarship rewards students from varying academic backgrounds who routinely demonstrate maturity and integrity within and beyond the classroom. Deadline - April 1, 2024

Students who are eligible will possess a demonstrable commitment to bettering their community through volunteer or service work, permanent residence within the Monk's service area and available to participate in person for a group project in support of nourish NJ in the Spring of 2024. accepted to and enrolling in an accredited 4-year college or university in the Fall of 2024, as well as all Black/African-American college undergraduates currently enrolled in an HBCU, who:
• reside or attend school in Morris County, New Jersey OR are/were participants in a #CAPSM or AKA GEMS & GENTS high school program sponsored by Pi Theta Omega; and,
• have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (unless otherwise specified). Deadline - March 15, 2024
