Kindergarten Cartography

Cartography is a really fancy word for the science of drawing maps!  For the past few weeks, kindergarten classes have been learning how to read and make maps.  They will study maps of neighborhoods, cities, and countries.  They will read stories and make maps of the characters' journeys.  They will even create a map of their classroom!
