TransOptions H2 Fuel Cell Car Challenge
BHS Engineering Students Compete in TransOptions H2 Fuel Cell Car Challenge
On Wednesday, December 13, BHS Engineering students, along with their technology teacher Mrs. Vicki Cornell, travelled to New Providence High School to compete with their hydrogen fuel cell powered model cars, against other high school students in the region. Ed Aguasviva and Amad Arshad designed and built a dragster-style car “ASAP”, competing successfully in their heats and the engineer interview. Mike Healy and Tnzeel Khokhar, team “Purple Reign”, designed and built their car and competed successfully in both racing and interview. "Despite a few technical difficulties, all young men had a great learning experience at this event, and have set the bar for future BHS students," offered Mrs. Cornell.
