On Wednesday, BHS alum Elena Runfeldt (BHS '18) came for an On the Menu ©  lunch talk for our Gateway Academy scholars. Elena graduated from Cornell University in December 2021 and is currently conducting a study through a Fulbright grant which aims to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of adding a nutrition education program to gym-based childhood obesity management programs in Bridgetown, Barbados.  This presentation was well received by our students who now are connecting their interests to college programs.
