    Boonton Community Education Out-of-School-Time Programs

    Welcome to the Boonton Community Education Out-of-School-Time Programs registration page.  We offer before care, after care, summer and after school enrichment programs for your children.

     

    Our program hours are as follows:

    Bridges to Learning Before Care- 6:45AM – start of school

    Available at both JHS and SSS for students in PreK- 8

    Bridges to Learning After Care- From Dismissal – 6PM

    Available at both JHS and SSS for students in PreK- 8

    Bridges to Learning After Care Mini- From Dismissal – 4PM

    Available at both JHS and SSS for students in PreK- 8

    Summer Enrichment- 9AM – 12PM

    Open to children ages 3 - 6

    We also provide care during select school closure dates from 8AM - 6PM

    Program Details:

    Bridges AM Before Care: Early drop off opportunity starting at 6:45AM. Children can purchase or bring breakfast. (must arrive by 7:30 if purchasing breakfast).  Games, group activities, and exercise opportunities will be offered. Available at JHS and SSS for students in grades Pre-K-8. Choose 1-5 days a week coverage.

    Bridges PM After Care: Students are provided a small snack and will have an opportunity to complete homework. Games, computer-time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and special events will also be offered. We offer flexible registration options for your convenience. (Choose 2 – 5 days a week coverage). Bridges is held on all regularly scheduled school days, including all early dismissal days, except for June 19 (last day of school). Please note Bridges will close at 4:00 pm on Wednesday 11/27/19 and Friday 12/20/19.

    School Closure Days: School may be closed, but the fun continues. Students will participate in games, arts and crafts, quiet reading time, outdoor play and special events. An afternoon snack will be provided but participants should bring lunch. Program hours- 8AM- 6PM. Held at JHS, open to PreK- 8th grade students. Minimum enrollment required, and registration is non-refundable. Program available on Oct 14, Nov 7 & 8, Jan 20, Feb 14 & 17.

    • Strengthen children’s academic skills
    • Promote community engagement


    Our staff consists of Certified Teachers, Para-Professionals, and local College and High School Students who all support our goals and will work to provide a high level of care for your child.

    *Bridges to Learning Programs provide reasonable accommodations for students with special needs.  However, all accommodations are made within the framework of existing staffing ratios and program organization, but do not extend to substantial modifications in the childcare purpose, cost or availability of appropriate supervision for all participants.
