AENJ Conference Presenter
Recently, Ms. Angelillo had the opportunity to present at the AENJ (Art Educators of New Jersey) Conference. Her session titled, Beyond "I like it": Building Trust and Engagement in the Art Critique Process" focused on creating a supportive classroom culture where students feel seen, valued, and confident sharing their ideas. By modeling vulnerability, incorporating structured peer feedback, and emphasizing growth over perfection, she shared strategies that empower young artists to connect, collaborate, and critique with authenticity and respect.
