This week, we welcomed Mr. Louis Castano to John Hill School in his new role as Assistant Principal. As Mr. Nosal transitions into the position of Building Principal for all grade levels, Mr. Castano will work closely with him to support the daily operations of the building, student learning, and instructional practices schoolwide.
Previously serving as Boonton’s STEM and Business Supervisor for grades six through twelve, Mr. Castano joins John Hill as a familiar face and a trusted instructional leader with extensive experience in curriculum, teaching, and learning. His background brings valuable perspective as the school continues to strengthen both academic programming and student support systems.
When asked what he is most excited about in his new role, Mr. Castano shared, “I’m most looking forward to working more closely with students, something I didn't have as many opportunities to do in my supervisor role. I’m also excited to partner with staff in supporting the day-to-day work of the building while continuing to contribute my curriculum expertise to enhance teaching and learning.”
