Ellis

6th grade students recently enjoyed an educational trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, where they learned about the rich history and significance of these iconic landmarks. As they toured the sites, students gained a deeper understanding of the immigrant experience and the important role Ellis Island played in welcoming millions of people to the United States. For many students, the visit was especially meaningful as they discovered that some of their own family members may have entered the country through Ellis Island. With beautiful weather throughout the day, students thoroughly enjoyed exploring the historic sites, taking in the views, and participating in an engaging and memorable learning experience.
