On October 8th, our students were treated to an unforgettable experience as motivational speaker David Flood brought his energy, passion, and inspiring message of empathy, kindness, and inclusivity to JHS! Through heartfelt stories about his life and family, David encouraged students to recognize the importance of treating others with compassion, embracing differences, and making sure everyone feels included and valued. Our students enjoyed hearing his personal experiences and learning how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's day. Following his presentation, David went above and beyond by spending time with our third graders during lunch, chatting with students and making sure everyone had someone to talk to and connect with. His actions truly demonstrated the message he shared during his presentation! It was a memorable visit that reinforced the importance of building a school community where every student feels welcomed, respected, and included.
