School Street School celebrated Read Across America by participating in a variety of fun and engaging activities related to reading. The goal of the week was for the children to grow their love of reading!
Not only did students and staff dress in themes related to books written by Dr. Suess, but classrooms also welcomed guest and mystery readers. They participated in a DEAR time (DROP EVERYTHING and READ) on Thursday and welcomed BHS students on Friday. High School students brought and read their favorite children's book to our students.
A BIG thanks to the PTA for giving each student a new book!
