School Street School celebrated Read Across America by participating in a variety of fun and engaging activities related to reading. Here are some photos from the day.

School Store Update
Our School Street School Store—where students proudly spend their hard-earned Bomber Bucks—is now accepting donations. Your generosity helps keep the store stocked with fun rewards that motivate our learners and celebrate their positive choices. Thank you for helping us make this season brighter for our students!

School Street School enjoyed the assembly, Tahira: Stories and Songs to Inspire, a Young Audiences performance generously brought to our school by the PTA. Through engaging storytelling, music, and interactive moments, Tahira shared powerful messages about kindness, perseverance, and believing in yourself. Students were captivated by her energy and left feeling inspired, uplifted, and encouraged to use their own voices and talents in positive ways. We would like to thank the PTA for bringing great assemblies like this one to our school!

The hundredth day of school was celebrated this Thursday, with each class marking the occasion through a variety of fun and engaging activities centered around the number 100.

Mr. Norton's class took a special trip to the Boonton Public Library. Mrs. Mondino, the Children's Librarian, shared a story and gave students time to explore.

Thank you to all of our School Street School families who generously donated to our food drive, sponsored by Helping Hands and Students for Change—two wonderful JHS clubs making a positive impact in our community.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Mrs. Cunningham and the second-grade students paid tribute to veterans. They performed patriotic songs and read letters thanking our veterans for their dedication and service to our Country.

Our school community spirit was on full display today! Student and staff costumes, friends and family members cheering on at parades, classroom parties, and many more fun-filled activities occurred throughout our schools.
Have a very happy and safe Halloween!

Students continue to enjoy shopping in our School Store using their earned Bomber Bucks! Thank you to all the families and our PTA for generously donating items to sell. Your support helps keep this positive program going. We continue to welcome donations to keep the store stocked and exciting for our students!

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Tammy Fabish, School Street School’s new head secretary! Mrs. Fabish lives in Boonton with her husband and their three children—Ruby, Lochlan, and Desmond. She brings to our school years of valuable experience in office management and operations, along with a warm, welcoming personality that makes everyone feel at home. Mrs. Fabish is excited to become part of the School Street community and looks forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff. We are thrilled to have her join our team and know she will be a wonderful addition to the heart of our school!
