BOONTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The 2026-2027 Academic Calendar was approved on Monday evening.  Of note, we will begin the school year prior to Labor Day along with the vast majority of districts in the region.  We have been in communication with the Boonton Fire Department to ensure that the start of our school year and the Labor Day Carnival work to compliment each other as has been our community's tradition.  The district will be closed on the Friday and Monday of Labor Day to allow for the full enjoyment of the carnival and to provide one last hurrah of summer in the form of a four day weekend.
