Boonton High School - Week of Respect
Boonton High School is proud to recognize New Jersey’s Week of Respect! Throughout the week, we encourage students to promote kindness, inclusion, and respect throughout our school community. Together, we can create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and accepted. Respect starts with each of us—our words, our choices, and how we treat others.

John Hill School - Week of Respect
As students arrive at school on Monday, they had the opportunity to sign our Blue and Gold Pledge, representing their commitment to helping stop harassment, intimidation, and bullying and to treating others with kindness and respect. Throughout the week, teachers will lead a variety of activities designed to strengthen our school climate, along with special themed days that encourage students to be mindful of respecting both themselves and others. We are also excited to welcome David Flood, who will speak with our students about the importance of respect, kindness, and including others. We are looking forward to a meaningful and exciting Week of Respect at JHS!

School Street School - Week of Respect
School Street School joined schools across New Jersey in celebrating the Week of Respect, a special time dedicated to promoting kindness, inclusion, respect, and bullying prevention. Throughout the week, classes are participating in special age-appropriate lessons and activities focused on treating others with kindness, including everyone, and being an upstander. We will also come together for a school-wide Week of Respect assembly. In addition, students are invited to participate in our Spirit Week. On Friday, we will participate in the statewide NJ Gold and Blue Challenge by wearing gold or blue to show our shared commitment to creating a school where every child feels safe, valued, and included. Together, we can Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind!

The 3rd grade students at JHS recently completed their very first STEM activity during their TAKE Flight class, and the excitement was contagious! Our TAKE Flight classes are specially designed to enrich and empower students through hands-on, creative experiences that encourage problem-solving and collaboration. For this activity, students participated in a chain link challenge, where they designed and connected individual paper links to create the longest and strongest chain possible.
Boonton High School seniors gathered on the turf field prior to the first day of school to watch the sunrise together, symbolizing the beginning of their final year. This has served as a recently established tradition for our seniors. Have a great start to the year, seniors!
