Introducing Boonton's Virtual Calm Room!
The Calm Room contains various tools and videos of brief exercises like meditation, breathing, yoga, brain breaks, positive affirmations, and more for you to follow along with. The Calm Room is a great resource for you to use throughout your day! You can listen to relaxing music or nature sounds while you study, do a quick 2 minute breathing exercise between classes, or take 5-10 minutes to do a stretch to help clear your mind and re-focus after school or during lunch. You simply click on the link to open the Calm Room, find the video you would like to follow, and click play! There is even virtual bubble wrap to be popped for a quick brain break!
We hope that you will take advantage of the Calm Room when you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and even when you are not. Taking time to relax and rejuvenate yourself is a great proactive measure as well! We hope you will "bookmark" the Calm Room in your internet browser for regular use.
