• Message from the Athletic Director

Welcome to the Boonton High School Athletic Program. The Athletic Department looks forward with much anticipation to competing in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The conference will be made up of forty schools from Morris, Sussex, and Warren counties. The Bombers will strive to win NJAC Divisional Championships while competing in boys & girls cross country, field hockey, football, boys & girls soccer and girls tennis this fall. Also, while competing for championships, the Bombers will look to add a NJSIAA Sportsmanship Award as a school.

Come support our coaching staff and athletes as they participate on the courts or on the field. Our coaches will be challenging our student-athletes' skills as well as their character as they compete in interscholastic athletics. The Athletic Department expects its athletes to represent the school and community by demonstrating the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and hard work. This is Bomber Pride!

You are encouraged to stay up-to-date with all the athletic happenings by logging onto the Boonton Public Schools Website. The websites provide accurate information regarding all game schedules.  Any additional athletic information can be obtained by calling the Boonton High School Athletic Office at 973-335-9700 ext. 4020.

Hope you all enjoy our sports seasons, and we hope to see you at the games. We wish all our student-athletes a safe and successful fall season. As Knute Rockne, former Notre Dame Head Football Coach, said, “Go out that door to victory!”  Here’s to a great fall season at Boonton High School. GO BOMBERS!

    Yours truly,

    David Hughen,
    Director of Athletics
