Teaching and Learning Academy
The Teaching and Learning Academy provides students with a solid foundation—and Certification—for a rewarding career in education and human services.
The areas of Education and Human Services are often described more as a calling than a profession. For students interested in becoming part of these crucially important fields, the Teaching and Learning Academy is the ideal place to begin. With coursework covering learning, teaching and pedagogy from early development through high school, it provides the foundation for further studies and eventual employment in careers including education, social work and other related disciplines.
Plus, students graduate from the Teaching and Learning Academy with their Child Development Associate (CDA) Educational Certificate of Achievement; the only nationally recognized Certification for Early Childhood Education. This Certificate is accepted by New Jersey for working in many early childhood centers.
